The Producer/DJ duo Oliver has been bringing the hard funk in recent weeks with the release of their EP and a mixtape. Upon uniting forces, U-Tern and Oligee took the sounds of relentlessly groovy R&B, boombox worthy hip-hop and heavy electronic hooks to make music that wouldn’t go unnoticed. They earned their name through remixes for everyone from Chromeo and Foster The People to Breakbot and techno godfather Juan Atkins, but have soared above through their most recent productions. With the release of their Fool’s Gold EP Mechanical, Oliver push their hybrid sound to even funkier new horizons.
